Hey! So far, I have gotten back into reading again; not to say that I don't read, but I'm always using digital books instead of physical books. But I missed the feel of holding on to the pages and the texture. This is what I have been reading lately:

Help Wanted by Adelle Waldman: Personally, this is a book that is so relatable when it comes to the working environment, dealing with coworkers, managers, trying to make ends meet, etc., and I get to learn and understand different perspectives of what other people go through and teamwork.

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer: I got all the Twilight books, but I'm starting over reading them, and I've got to say it's somewhat different from the movies. Especially Bella's and Alice's characters lol. I also have the audiobooks on my mp3 player so I can follow along while reading and comprehending what's going on in the book, if that makes any sense. I'm still reading the first book; I'm halfway done with it, so I can go to the second one: New Moon.

Lady Macbeth by Eva Reid: I actually love this book! I know a lot of people have mixed opinions about Lady Macbeth and how's protrayed in the story, but I feel like it fits her character from the original Shakespeare play. She was cold, calculated, a bit insane, but also smart. I'm almost done with it so far, and it's getting dark, but good at the same time, and I think the author did a great portrayal of Mrs Macbeth.

I also bought a book from Target called "Once Upon a Time in Dollywood," which I need to finish; I feel so bad for the main character, Eve, because TW: she gets cheated on by her so-called fiancé, but ends up having a miscarriage due to this mess. And honestly, I wouldn't even attend therapy with this loser and just called it quits from the get-go lol. But I'm glad she left him and cut off her weird parents, too. I also feel bad for the love interest, but that's a whole other topic. I'm not going to spoil the whole thing, but it's a pretty great drama/romance novel; the author did a wonderful job writing this emotional, yet bittersweet tale.

I have more books I want to read as well, but there are so many lmaoooo! But once I finish with these books, I'm going to tackle reading some more. But for now, take care, everyone! 🐬
